Olivia is one of the first children in Australia to receive Siemens Aquaris Hearing Aids from Australian Hearing. She loves having fun in the pool and spa, but has been unable to hear near water. It’s not a good idea to wear regular hearing aids near water. Just a few drops of water or grains of sand can ruin the expensive little things. Not being able to hear in water is not just an inconvenience, it can also lead to safety issues. She would love to go to our local beach and the pool at school, but Olivia’s fun, communication and safety have always been limited by her inability to wear hearing aids in, or close to, water.
